What inspired you to join the military?

I wanted to go to college, but my family could not afford it. The military was the best choice, so I applied for the US Air Force Academy.

Why did you pick the service branch you joined?

I initially had aspirations of becoming a pilot but found I was interested in other things.

How did your service prepare you for your career?

The Air Force taught me to speak up when something is not right, to have pride in my work, and to always do the right thing when no one is looking.

Tell me about one of your most memorable experiences while serving.

I was stationed at Yokota Air Base in Tokyo, Japan.  I worked hard and played hard. Made some very best friends and had the best training in the world.  Toward the end of that tour I climbed Mount Fuji.  I
got to experience Japan like no other. IndiaHow can we support our veterans?

First, recognize that veterans come in all manner of color, gender, and age.  There is a new generation of veterans.  Second, appreciate the very specific skillsets that veterans have.  We have gone through a lot to acquire those skillsets so do not dismiss them.

What did you learn at Protiviti that that has contributed to your success today?

At Protiviti, I learned how to treat a client.  In order to give the very best work, listen, and be honest with clients.  I also learned to provide clear and concise work products on time.  Clients appreciate the attention to detail.  At my current job, I see everyone as a client, so I try to provide a good experience with anyone I work with.
